  Infant Program

Your baby's transition from home to school should be comfortable and easy for both you and your child. At Coastal Kids Academy, we are experts at creating an environment with a safe, nurturing “home away from home” atmosphere that will encourage your baby to reach critical infant developmental milestones.  We believe in providing our infants with quality child care through an individualized approach.  Activities are individually planned for each infant's developmental stage. We focus on the following areas of baby development:

  • Independence and self-confidence

  • Motor skills

  • Social and emotional growth

  • Movement

  • Creative expression

  • Talking and listening

Each day we engage our youngest learners in a many imaginative activities. You’ll find us playing peek-a-boo, dancing, playing musical instruments, reading stories, and/or feeling cloths of different textures. We also teach sign language for words like "milk" and "more," so our infants can communicate in a frustration-free manner with caregivers. We’ll follow your baby’s personal schedule of napping, eating, and diapering, making time during these routine activities to sing, talk and cuddle. We keep families informed with electronic Daily Reports detailing your baby’s day.

Our Staff is trained to focus on each individual child in order to meet your little one’s changing developmental needs. Daily observations allow staff to plan appropriate activities to help your child reach his/her next milestone.

Our Infant teachers take pride in ensuring your precious baby has a great start in learning and development.
